On that first day –
there must have been a first day?
Surely there must have been a first day –
once?
How could all the other days follow on,
if there wasn’t a first day to start it all off?
Anyway, on that first day there was light.
There had to be light, didn’t there?
How would we know that it was dark,
if there wasn’t light to make a contrast?
