Poem: Act of God
Flesh and blood,
torn apart daily
in conflict,
terror,
crime,
torture,
accident
or Act of God.
Act of God, they say.
As if a vindictive God
oversaw all disaster
as an event planned
for satisfaction
of some unknown purpose.
