Deuteronomy 34: 1-12
All that time.
All that effort.
All those problems,
The harassment and heartache;
the complaints and confusion;
the disobedience and doubts;
the miracles and mayhem;
the battles and bewilderment;
the progress and provocation –
all that –
and yet he would never be a part
of the future celebration...
