Monologue/Drama: Standards


Have you ever noticed her down the road at number six?
And have you seen the state of her net curtains/
Absolutely disgraceful.
She ought to be ashamed of herself,
She has no self-respect.
And her kids are always rolling around and getting themselves dirty and she says she doesn’t really care, as long as they’re happy.
She never washes up properly either, at least not according to my standards.
A quick rinse in hot water and the cups are ready to use again.
It’s just not right.
I’ll bet she has a filthy mind, along with her not-too-clean habits.
