Gaze on the miles and miles Jesus covers in this story, wandering around the perimeter of Galilee, unwilling to return to where he is so well known. For there, some want him king, and some want him killed. Gaze on Jesus trying to remain unrecognized. Why was it so impossible?

Gaze at the parade of people that jostle and gather about him. So many of them are losers in the world’s eyes: the deaf, the mute and the outcast; the foreigner and the stranger; the old, and the poor. Though Jesus is sometimes exhausted by their claims on him and escapes to secret houses and hidden hillsides, he always returns replenished by being in communion with God...
