Drama/monologue: I own the sheep!

How dare they leave my sheep like that?

And in the middle of the night, just at the time when all the wild animals are on the prowl and the sheep need most protection! That’s what I pay them for, isn’t it? That’s why they’re out there in the fields at all hours of the day and night. They’re supposed to keep the fire going in the dark. He said you couldn’t help but hear them, they were making such a noise that a lot of people were woken up by them. Of course, they tried to tell me that they’d never drunk a drop. Did I believe them? Well, what do you think?
