Meditation – 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time Yr B
A suffering servant
Mark 10: 35-45

I’m so embarrassed; I feel so stupid, so naïve,
I really can’t believe I said it. I shudder to think of it now.
Oh dear! I really didn’t know what I was talking about.
Whenever I think of it I recall those words from Job,
‘Who is this that darkens my counsel
With words without knowledge?’
How I thank God that Jesus was so gentle in his response to my stupidity...
