Walking in God’s World
May we hear your glorious whisper
breaking through into this day -
in our loneliness and fellowship,
on mountaintop or factory floor,
through noisy streets or countryside,
wherever we might be with you.
May we hear your glorious whisper
breaking through into this day.
Gracious God, in so many ways
this day is a mystery unfolding
for we do not know what it will bring
or what might be expected from us,
and so we offer both to you -
the day that we walk into
and the tasks that we shall face,
that both might be blessed
by your presence and grace.
