Ruins of Calda House Inchnadamph North West Highlands Scotland UK. Built in the early 1700s this was once the impressive mansion which Kenneth MacKenzie had built for his wife in 1726. The family soon fell into debt and rather than let the property fall into the hands of the Earl of Sutherland supporters of the MacKenzies burnt it down just ten years later.
