Hymn: When the glory of the presence

Proper 24 year A
Exodus 33: 12 – 23

When the glory of the presence,

source of every world and star,

leaves transcendent worth and wonder,

close as breath, no longer far,

are we blinded by the dazzle?

Does God show us who we are?

How do we discern God with us

in a world where much is bleak
Tune: RHUDDLAN
